“The Cheaper Route to your New Car or Commercial Vehicle”
As you may be aware, the government is thinking about introducing a similar old car-for-new car scrappage scheme that exists in Germany and some other EU countries. We'll know more on Wednesday 22nd April when the Budget is announced, but the idea is to encourage higher sales of new, less polluting cars.
So, what does this mean? Well quite simply that old banger that has a market value of under £500 today is suddenly worth four times more post budget - it will appreciate rather than depreciate, and what's not to like about that? If it encourages you to go out and buy a new car; we are all in favour of it.
The details are yet to be ironed out but we hope that the government will extend the scheme to include purchases made online. This will essentially mean that on top of the already attractive discounts we are able to offer across all manufacturers we may also be able to apply an additional £2000 bonus to the deal. Keep an eye out tomorrow and we will update the website as soon as we know more......
